The core of this album are live studio sessions with synths, sequencers, space guitar & looper.

Some notes: Telefunken Baby! was recorded mono on reel to reel tape, then mixed live through a space-echo device; only bass was added later. The Endlos session was recorded on two track; drums, tabla, lead guitar & additional synth were overdubbed. Third Rock is a long two track jam; drums & some synth/tape effects and a touch of gliss were added later.
Instruments :
Four analog synthesizers, two sequencers, looper, floor tom, low tom, snare, tabla, cymbals, egg, tambourine, tingsha, electric guitar, bass guitar, effects.
Composed, produced, performed by Son of Ohm 2019.

Four Riders take Space Mountain

My experience of the album focuses to vague hints of four riders symbol in western culture, culminating in paintings of father and son, both descended to the ultimate reality to where the four riders eventually lead us all. Though most of physical world and life in general may appear as null, there are scarcely summits of space mountains emerging from void. Momentariness of all may be only cause for meanigns and give reason to existence..Remembering Mr. Hofman when spinning this.record.

Knall are a German-based collective that taps into their homeland's rich Komische heritage when brewing their exploratory brand of deep Psych. Their improvisational side shines on this live recording, with bowing bass, scattered FX, keys and fluctuating guitar rhythm and leads underpinnded by steady drumwork. 'Toutatis' engages, especially when Knall painstakingly shapes towards a towering crescendo. 'Raumzeit' too brilliantly builds from a beautiful tranquility into controlled frenzy

Drug Rings of Saturn

This is kind of a monolithic album imho, yet somehow it's OSJC's most approachable album (that I've heard so far, I guess). I say that as a person who initially balked at the runtimes - I'm a "brevity is the soul of wit" kinda guy. That said, these jams are absolutely first-class. You do not feel the length at all, they're more like soundtracks to an inner movie. Soft Velvet Underbelly makes me wish I still played Elite: Dangerous, so I could commit space piracy to it. Has a great coda, too.
