Cozy in Hypnotica is the debut album of multi instrumentalist, engineer and music producer Rocky Maldonado.
Recorded at his studio from 2016 to 2018, Rocky was inspired by film composers such as Francois De Robubaix, Ennio Morricone, Piero Umiliani, and Nina Rota to create an album in which the songs flow together like a psychedelic film score.
Constantly changing pace, Cozy in Hypnotica is filled with sounds from vintage instruments like Mellotrons, organs, synthesizers, acoustic, and electric guitars, bass, and drums.
Each song changes the mood and image in your minds eye, some of which being slow, smokey, and almost barren while others are so packed with sound that they take up every open space available to the listener.
